Fatal error - migrating tables for database on storagenode

I’m stuck and looking for suggestions - thanks in advance.

Windows 11 node running for a few years.
Stopped working yesterday.
storagenode.exe service hangs upon startup and can’t be stopped without rebooting.

things I’ve tried (not in order)

  • integrity check of all Databases - all ok
  • upgraded storagenode.exe to the latest version 1.151.4
  • scanned storj drive - no errors
  • tried “How to fix database: file is not a database error” but no new databases are created when the service attempts to start because it hangs.
  • last time i made changes to the config.yaml file was in March of 2025

Here is the end of my log - no new lines are added to the log upon subsequent attempts to start. I do have my log set to WARN.

Databases are not vital so as a last resort you can always delete all of them. The node will create new empty databases on start.

i’ve tried that and it hangs before creating the databases.

More logs please. These three lines are context cancelled errors that suggest that there is logic in storage node that tells it to shut down early, but context cancelled on its own just says what pieces of logic need to be interrupted early as a consequence of the shut down. These are not the root cause.

Also, please use a pastebin or backticks for pasting logs. Just pasting them into post kills some useful formatting.

Ok thanks - I will use pastebin next time. For now - The Node seems to have fixed itself. It just started and is processing.
