There seems to be a new checks on the file names which royally messes up all the backup processes I have. This kind of file name check and block is not at all needed and only goes to frustrate developers who want to upload backup files in the original name.

^^ this block. Kill it with fire. It’s sent as a “string” anyway so there is absolutely no reason for these limitations.
Also when you are there please allow renaming of folder names. It’s a must too.
Edit: And yes I know filezilla isn’t designed for backup but really this is just common requirements. Not being to upload file names with spaces, or renaming anything, is absurd.
