Graceful Exit traffic payment

I am operating a node that has 5TB of data stored on it. If I do a graceful exit, a good chunk of these 5TB might get downloaded from my node, and I will be paid 10USD per TB of that traffic, right?

The new payment model will not be profitable for me to keep my disks spinning, so am I correct in thinking that it might be wise for me to leave asap when the new payment model is finalized? Otherwise my exit traffic might already fall under the new pricing model?

No, GE does not generate paid egress traffic. The GE process returns any held amount, so that is the ‘payout’ element.

Thanks, in that case there is no incentive for me to do a graceful exit, as my kept amount is lower than my monthly operating cost. I’ll just switch it off once the new pricing model sets in then.
