Half data of my node just got deleted overnight

I know, I’ve been monitor that number for weeks though!

Interesting and no missed reports?

I run it without logs (I only enable logs if it crash), but it follow closely storage trend on storjstats.info so I assume it true…

Seriously? Have you been living under a rock?

Have a look at this thread, although it’s nearly 2000 posts long by now

I thought the error was only displayed locally, always test data that goes.
Aren’t they the TTLs that are finally being thrown away?

I think the “seriously” was just because of the “welcome to the party pal” as the test load has been the major source of the activity for the last few months. So sincerely… welcome to the party.

And yes, you are exactly right, there was a HUGE amount of test data. if a node was new the data would have been overwhelmingly test data. And that test data has been deleted over the last few weeks, as of a couple days ago it’s all gone and we’re back to ‘real’ data.

There is always uploads and deletions, so why not.
However, I believe in this case it was a test data, which is finally deleted. Before expansion it should be around of 3-5PB (we experimented with RS settings also, otherwise I would exclude the standard expansion factor as 80/29).
It should be easily checkable, you need to calculate data for the Saltlake satellite. And I think the satellites filter doesn’t work on that dashboard.
