Error response from daemon: cannot stop container: storagenode: Cannot kill container b4315dd28c46a4c796607ebc5fffb7e1e485a305f9176ac59d19ba6f21ddeb59: unknown error after kill: docker-runc did not terminate sucessfully: container_linux.go:393: signaling init process caused "permission denied"
this is after I ran: docker stop -t 300 storagenode
Same with using sudo
.

Are you running on Ubuntu?
If so, try re-installing apparmor and then re-start the system.

The apparmor is the culprit. I posted a similiar thread one month ago.
