Here is how LucidLink approaches this for the Genetec Security Center:
LucidLink can be used to send recordings from Genetec Security Center directly to object storage. This is useful as Genetec cannot directly record and stream video data on-demand to and from object storage.
Even though Storj probably already can be used with LucidLink, with Storj Object Mount it should be even better. With that their customer would have an alternative to LucidLink and the Genetec built-in cloud storage service they could choose from for the Omnicast VMS.
On the other hand, Genetec might be a potential partner for building their cloud server on top of Storj as for their customer base they need worldwide performant up- and downloading.
