Hello, my HDD was defective and I lost all folders and files. I still have my indent folder as a backup. so I could restore the ident. Can I still use the folder or is it lost?
The identity is useless without the data files. You need a new identity if you want to start a new node.

Perhaps. Depends on your filesystem and OS. You likely will need a specialized tool to do so.
Would anyone have an idea for such a tool? Test disk doesn’t work already tried
