How do I confirm ZkSync is setup properly?

I followed the information here on xkSync payouts
https://documentation.storj.io/dependencies/storage-node-operator-payout-information/zk-sync-opt-in-for-snos

Is there a way to confirm that I set it up properly? Do I need to change my wallet address in the config.yaml? or anywhere else? The dashboard still shows my storj wallet address, is that correct?

You do not need to change your wallet addresss, if you have an access to your private key/secret phrase. The payout will be send to the same address, but via zkSync, and you can see it on https://zkscan.io

To check the setup, you should make sure that you have added a string operator.wallet-features: ["zksync"] to the end (or any other free line) of the config.yaml, saved it and restarted the storagenode.

Is this still true if I am unable to link my ledger to wallet.zkscan.io? Trying to change payout method, but I keep getting U2f errors on all devices and browsers.

Hello @mikee027 ,
Welcome to the forum!

You can connect your Ledger to Metamask: https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020394612-How-to-connect-a-Trezor-or-Ledger-Hardware-Wallet
And Metamask can be connected to https://wallet.zksync.io/
To see your rewards you can use a usual browser: https://zkscan.io/

hi @Alexey ,
I have originally received my payments to my “My Ether Wallet - MEW” address. (0x1CC3…)
I’d like to receive in zksync now, I already appended the config.yaml file restarted docker and I can see it on my dashboard.
image zkSync is opted-in.
I created a new Coinbase Wallet account and I linked it with zkSync Wallet | zkSync: secure, scalable crypto payments.
Not sure if I’m on the right track though. Do I need to do anything else?
I suspect yes, because I think MEW and Coinbase Wallet does not know about each other.
thanks for your help in advance

You need to update the wallet address in the node configuration to the address from your new wallet.
The other option would be to import your MEW address to your Coinbase Wallet either using a private key or secret phrase to do not create a new address. In this case you do not have to change address in the node’s configuration.

Thank you.
Do you by any chance know how to move from MEW to Coinbase Wallet? MEW recovery phrase is a 24 word list, but it seems Coinbase Wallet accepts 12 word list only…
Wrote to Coinbase support, but they did not give useful answer.
Thanks Gergo

How i can connect my “MyEtherWallet” to zksync? i dont see it in list of wallets

Only use a different wallet with the same phrase. Metamask for example or hardware wallet with their recommended software (usually Metamask too).

No, I do not use the Coinbase Wallet. Maybe there is an option to import the private key?
And also you can always send a transaction to your other address.

unfortunately I have to stop my home server () and therefore I will gracefully exit storj. my current unpaid balance is too low ~30$ so I think if I quit gracefully, it will not be paid in STORJ. that’s why I was thinking of alternate solutions to get paid before I leave.
What would you recommend?

There is not too much options right now:

  1. Wait and hope that the fee would be lower than $7.5
  2. Opt-in for zkSync and receive undistributed payout and held amount to your wallet on zkSync.
  3. Opt-in for Polygon and receive undistributed payout and held amount to your wallet on Polygon.

For two last options you can use a Metamask and import your MEW wallet with the same phrase. The Metamask allows you to connect to zkSync or Polygon.
Perhaps MEW would be able too in the future.

thank you @Alexey !
I really appreciate your help, always helpful, always quick reply. :+1:
Keep up the good work
