WD Purple is not really a good choice to store data that is being rewritten regularly.
WD Perple is Surviliance HDD, and it just made to rewrite data all the time. I work in video surveillance and they are really relible.
After one year this node has paid for itself (the recycled parts helped a lot)
In a few months the held back will pay for the electric too
