How to use a buffalo NAS

I have a nice NAS on my network mounted as drive Y: on my win 10 system. When I attempt to use y:\Storj get an error of mkdir path not found. When I tried \192.168.xx.xx\Storj where the folder is I get the same error. When I do something like c:\Storj things work fine. What is the magic to use a NAS?

U cant transfer with smb you have to use isci. Check of your nas has that feature. Will trick your computer to think that the hdd is mounted in your computer.
Or if u can use docker in your nas thats an idea to. Would use much less power

Regrettably the Buffalo NAS does not support Iscsi, so it will not be usable for storj node
