How to use write-hashtbl?

I found not much information about the usage of this tool. When/how should one use --fast and --slots parameters?

I got more information from the team:

so the --fast flag causes it to skip piece integrity checks. it can make the table faster, but it might include pieces that are bad due to corruption or whatever. the --slots parameter is if you know approximately how big the table should be, it can skip walking the log files twice (once to know how big to make the table, second time to insert the data into the table), which can speed things up.
both are for advanced situations where you have extra information and want it to go faster. not really necessary in default usage.

I would not recommend using either of them.

BTW: I’ve found that write-hashtbl crashes on zero-byte log files, so delete those first.
