I meant more about crypto world, as I say, proper work is a Default thing.
The thing is, I am currently running 10 nodes. Not out of necessity but out of boredom.
I could run 100 nodes but it wouldnât change anything in terms of profitability.
I pretty much give away any earnings as âinitial ethâ because ⌠I am stupid and thought it was a good idea.
can I get some cheese with that wine, Iâm glad to be in this game a few days ago checked the price of Storj token and behold 0.60xxxxx and I WAS holding 1887 tokens, well ânough saidâ all IN here
Ah!! 1887⌠That was a good year.
Itâs always nice to turn an extra profit through patience.
yes it was, most came from a node that was started back 05/19 and was forced to GE it sue to immanent hardware failure a few months back.
This is only one thing Coinbase is good for these daysâŚ
The âEarn Rewardsâ pages! get a few $'s every so often from doing nothing much, and having it handy to transfer to your wallet and use when gas prices go through the roof againâŚ
Calm down, who do you think you are?
Oh nvm, you already stated who you think you are.
Cya!
would it be wrong to say leave I will gladly take your repair work
What the hell man, converting storj is a piece of cake and there is gazillions way to do this,
mark this post as a rant maybe.
Anyone using kraken to receive reward for node? As i see there you can directly convert storj to eur.
@meerektee Hey, whatâs your favâ way of converting Storj to fiat? What would you recommend?
So far Iâm holding storj, but I would convert storj to ETH with Uniswap, Binance or other wallet supporting ERC20 tokens then send ETH to Coinbase, convert to GBP and then withdraw to bank account.
I dont get it, you fail to sell your tokens and blame storj ? i use binance, you can send payouts there every month and sell your tokens in few clicks
You should not do that.
Just donât.
Although I tend to agree with you @twl, maybe you could elaborate a bit more on why you think @warn1ng shouldnât send payouts directly to Binance every month?
Hey, Newbie here just reading posts about starting up a node etc. Bought my first Pi 4gb and was just curious about what you mean about killing a node in your learning process ? Cheers.
A i have 5-8 nodes on one pc, hapend that used exidently same intentity on second node, so node was DQ. Bad HDD wire, some time make bad things and in the end of DQ, Some time wrong settings.
So everything you do check twice.
Oh ok thanks. Im totally new to this Storj HDD renting system. If there are any tips you can pass on they would be appreciated. Thanks again.
If you change something on your storage node always assume the worst. Always assume you have done something wrong and if you donât find the mistake your storage node will get disqualified. With that in mind just doublecheck everything.
I usually close my external port for this. I make sure my node is offline and canât receive audits. Then I start the node and check the storage node dashboard. Is it showing the data that I would expect? If not I can just fix it and thanks to the closed port I donât need to rush it. As soon as I have double checked everything I will open the port and wait for the first audits to fly in. If I am failing audits I shutdown the node asap before I try to look what happend. With this strategy I can usually catch most of my mistakes without getting DQed.
