You just do not understand. There is no notification system (they are not sent from the satellites to your dashboard). These notifications are local, when the node detects a change in the reputation.
So, yes, sure, it could be possible to implement, but it’s so useless for honestly…
If someone from the Community is willing to implement it - we will be happy to accept a PR.
But I do not believe that devs would spent time on this, especially for DQ. I’m sorry, but I agree with @arrogantrabbit - the DQ notification is completely useless. The warning on the dashboard is enough - anyone who track their nodes will notice it right away, others… well. They will receive a final email. If they didn’t provide the email - ok, they will notice when they open a dashboard next time.
There is a notification system that I can pull from the APi.
Relevant messages should show up there.
I consider a node dq as relevant message.
Case closed.
First, disqualification message serves as a marker that you are not going to get any more notifications ever from that node. Like, yeah, you might be sleeping well thinking that until you get a message from your node, there’s nothing to do. Sorry, no, disqualification means you can free up your disk space now.
Second, for node operators of multiple nodes a disqualification message serves as a notification that something is wrong with the way you operate your nodes. Maybe you are making the same mistake elsewhere? Better fix it quickly!
As said, emails are nice. But as I made my point not sufficient.
And it is also not consistent.
The notification center should be the place where are messages concerning a node arrive.
You can send additional emails (but as said email addresses can change, etc.)
A message in the notification center I can parse it and act automatically on it like shut the node down immediately.
