Is it bad? problem with noip

Hi
Yesterday my IP changed and for some reason router did not report it to NOIP…

Is this very bad?
Do you use any monitoring tools …for example, to send an e-mail if something is wrong with the service? (I use Windows 10 host.)

Thanks

If it’s fixed now there is no need to worry. As long as that number is above 60%, nothing really changes for your node. It will take 30 days for the score to recover though, so make sure your node doesn’t go offline again in that time.

I use uptimerobot.com to monitor the Storj port. That will check roughly every 5 minutes on a free account, so you will get a notification within minutes if something is down.

Thanks…
I just configured uptimerobot
I configured it for the IP and domain…so it should be better in the future.

You could also install ddclient on your PC and let it update your IP every 30 minutes or so.

I would not recommend to do so with router’s configured updater. It could lead to throttling or different addresses updating, if the author uses double NAT.
