Is Self-hosted S3 Compatible Gateway also distribute copy to nodes?

I’m using self hosted S3 Compatible Gateway i have seen that if we upload a object on bucket using native storj ui its distributes the object to 80 nodes all over the world

if we use self hosted is it also work as same or anything else ? help will be appriciated.

The segment distribution is the same, whether self hosted or through Storj web ui. The protocol always aims for 80 segments on as many nodes, but only 29 segments are needed to reconstruct the file.
