Localhost refused to connect. This site can't be reached

Hi all. My node seemingly refuses to connect to localhost at random times about two to five times a day. At this point my scores are extremely low and I tried to fix it with a new windows instalation and node setup on the newly installed windows. Every time it says “This site can’t be reached” I restart the node via the comand line in powershell and then is works fine for a while. It did the same thing before I re-installed Windows so it is not a software issue. I havent changed isp, router or changed settings. I also checked the settings on my router and firewall and all seems fine. How can I resolve this?

The node is likely shutting down or stopping and the logs will detail why that’s happening. Post the recent logs in between three backticks.

Docker or windows GUI ?

Could be the timeout error. Or databases Maybe

Go to the logs and post the 20 lines before you started the node again.

Daki the same happened with version 1.81.3 if I remember the version number correctly. It is Windows GUI.

Thanx for the replies. It is Windows GUI. I had the same issue with the 1.81.3 if I remember the version number correctly.

i had recently problems, so i configured the windows service to restart after 2minutes more than the checking interval of uptimerobot, so it get the downtime registered when sleeping and missing the alarm.
eg: restart after 23 min and uptimerobot checks every 21 min. so i could minimize the data loss after 4h offline.
automatic updates are not affected by this, an continue normaly. (restart service after 1min maybe to short)

the disk seems too slow to respond on write requests. I would suggest to defragment this disk and do not disable automatic defragmentation for this disk.
If it would not help, you may increase a writeability timeout:

No And Depending on your error. For read error you may increase a readable timeout, for write error you may increase a writeable timeout. But it’s better to increase only on 30s first, so it would be storage2.monitor.verify-dir-readable-timeout: 1m30s Or storage2.monitor.verify-dir-writable-timeout: 1m30s You need to save the config after the change and restart the node.
