i follow your setup for nodes, if i’m honest im inspired for some members of this forum, including you, can you show me your nodes build, how do you manage 300TB+?
It not that hard, I have 7 servers with 5-19 nodes in each. Several locations. I build it from 2019. so it raised slowly. As I work in technical security, so i have access to old decommissioned but working HDDs for free.
i’m hosting storj since 2022, i started from single hdd itx build too. Now im hosting around 200TB with almost 40 nodes. i used to build computer regular towers and since march im migrating into a open frame rack with 3 servers cases.

At home i have 42U rack, with servers, also moving from small 5-10 node to bigger server bilds in base on Xeon with 16-20 nodes. 64-128GB or ram. It is more power effective.
I mostly use sas9300-16i HBA adapters
295 TB it is used by Storj space, all together i have 580TB. All free from Storj space is occupied by chia with some buffer, as i see stoj rise in space I delete chia plots.
