You also won’t see any advantage from 1gbps compared to say 100mbps. Don’t waste your money.

I’m not sure why you removed your comment, but with your example of 500TB stored, you would see about 50TB of download traffic at current rates, which would be about 150mbit. So sure, at that point you may see an advantage of the higher speeds. But since you’d be making roughly 1750 USD a month by then, I think you could also afford it. But even with 100TB stored, a 100mbit connection is probably just fine.
