i got 4tb 5700rpm running on a thinkcentre e92 i5 3450 12gb ddr3 ram
running 330h nonstop 100/100 soon 250/250 on fiber and i got 378gb why is my bro getting more than me so much more

If they’re both young nodes, one having around 400GB and the other having around 800GB doesn’t sound too bad. Especially if the larger node can accept customer uploads at 10x the speed (1000 vs 100) - it will win more races.

im saying my bro got 1gb download and 50mbps upload i got 100/100 fiber and 250/250 soon
If you have 1 node on this connection, it is no difference you have 100/100 or 250/250 or 1g/1g it will use 10-20 mbit only. I have about 70 nodes on 1 gbit connection working fine.
Bigger spikes go only up to 500 mbit

Do you have same provider? because some providers have better latency. Did hi got it like Data on disk or it is only ingress amount?
Because sometime there is lot of ingress not less end up on disk.
data on disk it is if we check ingredss then it is 1tb. he got coaxfiber (basically fiber but coaxial to our router) and i got fiber to the wall so i got better latency (also i got quicker latency) thats whats wierd
he has faster HDD it can be the reason. 7200

does your drive show “busy” a lot? disk utilization? Like windows task manager or atop on linux? is it a 2.5" laptop drive? there is a chance it could be getting bogged down by maintenance tasks.
Ingress can vary between nodes for just… no reason at all. I run a few nodes and ingress can vary. I have two nodes with identical hardware and size but at different IPs and one has 500GB traffic and one has 770GB traffic so far this month.
also there is line in config.yaml called storage2.max-concurrent-requests: make sure that isn’t limited.

Its cmr its hgst or wd now enterprise grade hdds this is a lower speed version but might be a blessing in disguise cause higher reliability
