My pi crashed while I was on vacations and I just now managed to restore it. I received a mail however, a few hours ago that the node has been disqualified. Is it possible to reevaluate my node’s performance? The data are intact. Please?
Thank you in advance
If you’re already disqualified… then your node was unreliable/inaccessible for too long. It doesn’t matter if the data is intact, if you weren’t making it available online.
Was your node down for 30 days or more? They’re pretty lenient about occasional outages.
Have you looked at the dashboard for the cause?
Is it because of being offline too long (I doubt, since it is 30 days before this happens and will revert as soon as you restart your node) or because audit score fell below 96%?
Unrecoverable…
Yes unfortunately my Node was offline for about 30+ days. It was a poor 2TB node and was running with no issues from January 2021.
The mail states: “Your Storage Node on the US1 satellite has been disqualified and can no longer host data on the network. To store data on this satellite again, you’ll need to create a new node.” So I guess this is the end . I am just asking if there is a re-qualifying process or something.
first, I hope you had a good vacation.
second, you could… I guess, see if only US1 is disqualified or all the satellites. if just US1, you could perhaps gracefully exit from it and run the node with just the other satellites. But US1 is the busiest.
They cannot, the GE is available only for not disqualified nodes with online score greater than 80%, see
They can only forget it:
Update: after being back online, and since I have fresh monthly statistical data, here is how my node looks like. I will wait a few months to see if it behaves normally. Thanks all for your assistance
US1 is 75% of the storj network atm and it’s share will likely grow in future. So I would trash this node and start a new one.
It is only a 2TB node. He should delete the disqualified data and carry on.
Except I suppose most data has been repaired away (edit)
