NAS QNAP TS-233 can run node?

NAS QNAP TS-233 and 2 HDD can run node ?

Yes, if they are not too big. I have 2 Wdred 8Tb on Qnap ts230. A full one at 6.5Tb and the one with the operating system at 3.1Tb. They work but RAM is always a problem and the more the nodes grow, the more the problem grows

I see that supports Docker and has 2GB RAM, so yes, it can. I run 2 x 8TB disks/nodes on Syno with 1GB RAM. FW takes forever though.
Use ext4, no RAID, no access time recording.
Maybe try using a flashdrive for databases.

So that mean you have to restart always ?

Do you have problem about ram ?

Not always, but lately, if I try to increase the space on the second disk, it starts to give errors. I haven’t tried putting the dbs on a USB stick, maybe it could help.
The filewalker.used takes days. The filewalker gc finishes in a few minutes

More RAM is always better because Linux caches the matadata, etc in all available memory, and reduces the stress on HDD, speeding things up. But RAM it’s more important for Filewalker than normal operations of the storagenode. I did’t saw any significant difference as ingress or egress between 18 GB system and 1 GB system.
So, if your only option is 2 GB, that’s OK, use that, but I would recommend HDDs not bigger than 10TB.
