Hi. Need some help. My node’s disk died and can’t be used anymore. I’d like to start a new node on the pc but, how can I do that, since my email and IP is already in use on the dead node? At this stage I can’t even do a gracefull exit…
You spin up a new node by creating a new identity, like how you created your first node. You can use the same IP and email address.
After some time the satellites will detect your node is gone for good and will recover pieces that are gone.
