New bucket reporting non-zero file count

Hi all,

I recently created a test bucket (heypete-us) on the US1 satellite to test the US regional storage option. Without uploading any files or otherwise interacting with the bucket beyond creating it on the web dashboard, the web dashboard states there’s 6 files and 300 KB of space used. I confirmed that the web dashboard shows no files in the bucket, and Cyberduck’s “show hidden files” option also shows no files present in the bucket.

I’m using the Storj-managed encryption passphrase option, so this isn’t related to files uploaded using a different passphrase.

Here’s a screenshot of the bucket listing on the dashboard. Columns are # of files, storage used, and data downloaded. Note that heypete-global also shows files, but this has had test data written to it and recently deleted and the dashboard usually takes a little bit of time to update.

Any idea why this might be the case?

Thank you.

If you have had this bucket before and created it again, using the same name, it will show a previous stat. Later it should be updated (up to 48 hours) to show the current stat.

Aha, that explains it. Thank you.

Update, several hours later: the file and storage count has gone to zero as Alexey has predicted.
