After my storage bandwidth quota was reached (and i have 300GB HDD space left) the node just sits there and does nothing. I don’t want to increase the quota.
Does it matter if the node is running in that case?
Does it earn something?

Nothing. The traffic should stop and limit should be reinstated in the next month.
I’m pretty sure you’re still paid for storage, but regardless you should keep the node running or you will start failing uptime checks.

so at the end of the month I will get the earned tokens and the bandwidth counter will reset and start all over?
