Nodes stopped working (2023-7-1)

Over night the nodes I run from my apartment stopped working.

I don’t know why it can’t reach. I can ping the satellites. Also form inside a docker container.

Your node is offline.
Please check everything from this checklist:

Thanks. My router decided to change the public port range to something completely different from what I set.

This is not your router, it’s your ISP.
If it would happen very often, you would need to use a DDNS hostname instead of the public IP, see Step 3. Setup Port Forwarding - Storj Node Operator Docs

I’m already using a ddns hostname. It doesn’t help me if the public ports are different from the ones I set.

it will not change unless you used some kind of VPN.

In the top I set the ports that I want to have. In the bottom is the public IP and the ports I have received. This now matches up, but on the morning I had a 61000 Port range there. So yes the ISP probably messed this up for me.

ISP has nothing to do with that. Make sure you don’t have uPNP enabled on your router.

Done. Let’s see if something changes again next month.
