Online score just drop down…how to get 100% again?

…so how?

This shows not “all” network traffic is being blocked. Now you need to find out what the satellite thinks is wrong.

For us1 on the storagenode browse to http://localhost:14002/api/sno/satellite/12EayRS2V1kEsWESU9QMRseFhdxYxKicsiFmxrsLZHeLUtdps3S

For saltlake on the storagenode browse to http://localhost:14002/api/sno/satellite/1wFTAgs9DP5RSnCqKV1eLf6N9wtk4EAtmN5DpSxcs8EjT69tGE

Paste both results for review.

this for us1

this for saltlake…

Ok these are quite simple as the node is so new.

There are 4 audit windows on us1:

{"windowStart":"2021-08-10T12:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-11T12:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":0} = 0% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-12T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":0} = 0% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-14T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime

and more on saltlake:

{"windowStart":"2021-08-06T00:00:00Z","totalCount":2,"onlineCount":2} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-07T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-07T12:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"on1ineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-08T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-08T12:00:00Z","totalCount":2,"onlineCount":2} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-09T00:00:00Z","totalCount":2,"onlineCount":2} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-09T12:00:00Z","totalCount":4,"onlineCount":4} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-10T12:00:00Z","totalCount":3,"onlineCount":3} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-11T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-11T12:00:00Z","totalCount":3,"onlineCount":0} = 0% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-12T00:00:00Z","totalCount":2,"on1ineCount":1} = 50% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-12T12:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-13T00:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime
{"window5tart":"2021-08-13T12:00:00Z","totalCount":3,"onlineCount":3} = 100% uptime
{"windowStart":"2021-08-14T12:00:00Z","totalCount":1,"onlineCount":1} = 100% uptime

Both point to downtime between 2021-08-11T11:00:00Z and 2021-08-12T11:00:00Z. Since that time window there have been no missed audits so your node should recover.

If you still wanted to look into this further you should check your node logs between those times and the likelihood is that there are almost no log entries, compared to other times. Further pointing toward the node being offline.

tq so much for assistance @Stob
so…i just do nothing n wait for online recovery right?

You can try to figure out - why it was offline to possible avoid such situation in the future.
But regarding online score - it should recover in the next 30 days online. Keep in mind - each downtime extends required time to another 30 days.

orait…i will keep that in mind… :+1:

Does uptime and downtime take into account downtime due to applying OS patches?

Hello @cryptodev1 ,
Welcome to the forum!

The online score is affected when the satellite is coming to audit the node, but the node is not responding. Such audit considered as offline.

So, if your node is unavailable from outside, it’s considered as offline.

my online score for europe-north-1.tardigrade.io:7777 just drop down suddenly…

This is the relevant section. It shows that an audit was attempted between 2021-09-04T23:00:00Z2021-09-05T10:59:00Z but your node didn’t reply.

Looking closer you can see 5 successful audits and 1 failed audit, so your online percentage would be 5/6 = 83.33333334% which should match the dashboard.

Nothing to do but keep the node online, unless there are errors in the log.

my node always online 24/7…how?

My previous reply still applies:

I would recommend to setup uptimerobot.com to check your port. You can see when your port was not available.
