Only 1 satellite offline - rest 100% (?)

Hi, my 1-week young node (#2) shows for just one satellite 0% online. The rest is at 100%. There are no logs referring to that specific satellite. Any ideas?

is it possible that you are blocking internet traffic from some regions
AP1 i think is Asia Pacific or so

Hmm, can be a temporary issue with the provider? As the node is young, there’s not that much traffic yet.

This morning it had 100%, too.

it’s possible, but astronomically unlikely.

did you have any downtime? that does increase the odd’s
you can give it a few days see if it recovers…

Not within the last 29+ hours.
That’s why I’m wondering; it’s looking strange.

You can check, when your node were offline for that satellite:

Then check your firewall’s logs to see, did it block connections

But why was it still 0%, when on Feb 4 the audit was successful? Hmm

The online score is calculated for 30 days window. You need to wait until your downtime event will move to the past.

but to reach 0% online score his downtime is like 30 days and thus it should start going up within a much shorter time frame.

however if one has 1 day of downtime that is subtracted the online score and then it takes 30 days for it to pass out of the 30 day window.

but at 0% i would expect it to go up each day.
atleast how i understand online score.

@Bivvo how is your online score looking now?
and how much data does the node have in total / for ap1

It has around 10 GB / 1 week young. I’ve stopped it yesterday, due to a really instable environment. Let’s see, if I can manage to move in time and how the score looks then. So far, my first node has priority.

I’ve had this problem as well, node totally fine and then two weeks ago the online score suddenly drops to 0%, the weird thing is that the suspension score is still at 100%. As long as the suspension score doesn’t drop I’ll leave it alone and see if it fixes itself.

Not on new nodes. If you were offline for a single down time event on a new node, you’d have a 0% score, the next successful one would bump you up to 50%. It’ll still take 30 days since the last down time event to get back to 100% though.

That’s not weird, the two are unrelated. Suspension score only drops when your node responds to an audit but returns an error other than a missing file or corrupt data. In those last cases it would impact the audit score, not the suspension score.

In the excerpt you can see, that is not the case. 2.2. not successful, 4.2. successful, 5.2. online score still 0%. But maybe I’ve misunderstand.

It should be the case as far as I know. Maybe try restarting the node to force an update of stats from that satellite.

Already did that - currently it’s offline. :sunglasses:

Then you need to fix that. Or do you mean it’s shutdown?

Yes, sorry, shutdown.
