I was reading this blog Great Bitcoin Ideas Show the Power of One Market: Secure the Bag - Chia Network and I just wondered if it (secure the bag) was possible with ethereum

I don’t have the knowledge to tell if it is marketing bull or not

It’s not marketing bull: it does save fees when you’re sending to a huge number of addresses. ETH does support batched transactions: but I don’t know either it if lets you specify a high-half-fee to cover the sending the coins but have a low-half-fee for the receiving side.

I think Storj just wants everyone to use zkSync Era. Even if the first thing most SNOs have to do is to pay to get it off zkSync Era to do anything useful

## Abstract

This EIP introduces two EVM instructions `AUTH` and `AUTHCALL`. The first sets a context variable `authorized` based on an ECDSA signature. The second sends a call as the `authorized` account. This essentially delegates control of the externally owned account (EOA) to a smart contract.

## Motivation

Adding more functionality to EOAs has been a long-standing feature request. The requests have spanned from implementing batching capabilities, allowing for gas sponsoring, expirations, scripting, and beyond. These changes often mean increased complexity and rigidity of the protocol. In some cases, it also means increased attack surfaces.

Is this something similar to what has already been considered in the past (sorry, not really that interested in crypto)? If not, what’s the difference? Batch (smart contract) transactions fee test

The company that sends out the payments only pays a small-slow fee for the payments so that they save money but the sno would be able to pay the full fee to get a quick payment.
