Perform a graceful exit for a single node when multiple nodes are running on the same host/IP

Hi, I’d like to know the procedure for decommissioning a node. I currently have three nodes running, but I want to perform a “grateful exit” for one of them. Could you help me with that? Thanks.

I wouldn’t. It’s not clear at the moment whether you’d paid as this is most likely be considered a legacy payment and you’d not get anything. ATM I’d either keep going to see what happens or switch off and save the electric which would be more than you’d get. Your choice. We’re all thinking the same…

Graceful. It’s not gratitude. It’s grace. Follow the guide. Other nodes dont have any bearing on the exiting one.

Not gracefully exiting violates terms of service you have agreed to. Don’t give harmful advice just becuse you don’t care or to show performative outrage.

Does TOS say anything about getting paid?

That would be irrelevant. Someone else breaking the terms of service does not justify breaking them yourself. Whether Storj pays what it owes is a separate issue.

Hello @guarez,
Welcome back!

You need to provide the used local port, which you configured with the --server.address option.

Haven’t received your payout? Please provide your NodeID so we can check.
