Traffic increase: Look at the model sizes (150 gb - 5000 GB) and the number of downloads (couple of million for the top ones). Speed: I encountered it myself. I sometimes can’t even get 100 Mbps anymore.

For updates distribution one case pops in mind: Steam. I don’t know if they host the games updates or act just as intermediary between the studious and gamers, but maybe worth checking. Wikipedia is another big one.

It would be nice to have Steam on board, they likely don’t require SOC2, and the CDN model works pretty well. They are likely an integrator, and every studio hosts using their own method, I don’t know for sure.
