What to do after power lost? My node was restarted and is online again, but the USED Disk space was some kind reseted and not showing the value that was before the power lost. It’s report a lot less than before. I don’t know what’s is wrong with that value. I’ve also noticed that after the power lost the traffic in/out is a lot less than before.
By default when a node starts it runs a subprocess called used-space-filewalker: and it starts to add-up every file to determine what your actual used-space is (in case something changed while the node was off). Because Storj has so many tiny files (millions per TB) on a normal HDD this could take hours, or a day+ (depending on how full your HDD is).
You could check to see if used-space-filewalker is still running by looking for the process: or in your node logs (it writes when it starts, and completes). Or just wait a day or so and check to see if your stats move back to where you expect them.
Pray, for no F’n database to repair.
Edit: coz its annoying.
I do not see any problem. They always can re-create them if the databases are heavily corrupted or they do not mind to lose the stat.
