Can I ask why your Twitter (X) account is still not verified? It seems like a red flag.
Please don’t pay X for a checkmark beside your name.
Why would you not want Storj to increase reach of marketing messaging on Twitter?
They really should get the official Check, because thats is SIGNIFICANT to algorithm whether the posts are alowed to bloom or not.
Account that do NOT pay are intentionally tamedin post reach - They Should know it!
I am too against supporting that company and that guy. I even would support the rule like Reddit, that posting content from there should be forbidden.
Ps: There is a reason why many companies refrained from doing ads there and even closed their accounts
sure there is: crony capitalism, wokism.
Vivat “X” and Elon Musk! Who single-handedly uncensored the internet, if not Rumble and X, there would be no free speech left.
Its understandable that a private company wants money to operate,
no free lunch!
If Storj posts there? should optimize the ways how much people can see what they post!
Major factor is the Blue check, a verification.
IF Storj dont wnat that check, shouldn’t POST there then.
Because “nobody” sees it then.
This is called extortion and best not to participate.
Fully agree. But not necessarily because of the selfish jerk, but the platform itself designed for people with short attention span is not the place to associate with. Nothing useful was posted on twitter in the whole history of their existence. And no and not calling it “ex” (although, it’s almost that). It’s Twitter. Deal with that. Could not care less what they want to call themselves now.
Nobody who posts there gets more than a pitiful though “oh you probably have to post there because your head of marketing forces you to. Maybe you also post on Facebook, who knows”.
Could agree, IF NOT the fact, its the biggest English speaking social medium in the world, so whatever if they ask for 8$ a month or so to be able to reach more audience or even make Ads. Storj’s staff not once tried to grab Elons attention, and dont even have a verified acc there? and do not do paid ads there? whatever Your believes, thats just stupid, and self-excluding from the prospects.
Quantity vs quality.
Beliefs > money. Integrity > money. Doing the right thing > money.
Money is pretty much irrelevant as a driving factor long term; as in — if you don’t do the right thing and don’t stick to your principles you won’t make money long term.
Storj is a private company, so they can do whatever the hell they want without the pressure from shareholders. And if they believe paying however small extortion goes against their values — they are free to choose not to pay that.
Our marketing team would like to work on it after NAB.
Rainbow colors are not patented by LEFT, it just colors.
The swastika was not patented either, it’s just a cross. It was (and still is) used by many religions.
You don’t need to patent anything for it to become a symbol.
The rainbow does seem to me to have very much a leftist connotation currently. At least in the Western world.
Yeah, you just draw a symbol and bern down enough amount of cars to become famous religion.
I have always despised Twitter.
In an increasingly complicated society with extremely complex issues that require carefully crafted words to be solved, Twitter excelled at oversimplifying arguments and lived on emotive “shoot-from-the-hip” opinions, mandated by the small number of characters on each post.
I think it has caused incalculable damage to society and I wish it had never existed.
I don’t think it’s any better or any worse now (looking from the outside).
I believe the experience has been somewhat different for companies with social media teams for example. For them, Twitter has primarily served as a marketing tool, rather than a platform for discussing real-world issues or controversial topics. In that context, Twitter is more of a job than an emotional engagement.
That said, I largely agree with your perspective. Personally, I have never created an account on the platform for reasons.
Tried looking in the mirror? You missed my point about quality vs quantity. You missed all the points in above posts by people you tagged. You believe information you get on twitter is unbiased. You believe it cannot be used to manipulate just like other platforms can. You believe it has anything to do storj advertising there.
Oh wow. If you do the right thing only if you personally are wronged or don’t do anything unless there is personal gain for you, it’s really sad to hear.
This is an overly simplistic and naive way to see this.
