QUIC misconfigured and node status offline

Hello There,

Greetings!!

I am getting QUIC misconfigured error after completion of my setup. I have setup no-ip and also configured port forwarding rules(TCP & UDP) on my router. But don’t know what exactly the issue are. Here I have attached my screenshot. It also shows UPTIME but status shows offline.

I have checked the firewall and the port is not blocked.

When I run the docker command, I see 5 files, I have moved ca.key to secure location as per the documentation.

Please check your WAN IP on your router and compare it with IP on Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router, if they don’t match, the port forwarding will not work.
Please also check your DDNS hostname (replace your.ddns.domain with your DDNS domain):

nslookup your.ddns.domain 8.8.8.8

It should return the same IP as WAN IP and IP from yougetsignal, if not - you need to check your DDNS updater (it’s better to configure your router to update DDNS if it’s supported rather than use an application).

Thank you for responding. I have verified and all 3 IPs are same.

Also I have configured router for DDNS.

Please compare the local IP of your PC with IP in the port forwarding rule on your router.
If they match too, then please show your port forwarding rules from the router and rules in your firewall (please note - you should not have any active outbound firewall rules).

did you checked with port open tool, does your ports are open from outside?
May be you are behind provider NAT?

I had checked with port open tool and it shows closed. So I had contacted with my ISP regarding that and I am waiting for their reply on that.

I had word with my ISP and they told me that they are not blocking any port. All port are open from their end.

Now I don’t know what exactly the issue is.

What IP do you see on Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router?

what linux do you have, may be you have firewall on linux, some destributions have it by default
Also what router do you have, some routers, have bad portforwasr, starting to work some times after restart

Yes. And it’s do not match the IP for your DDNS hostname.
What’s IP on yougetsignal?
If they are different - you behind the ISP’s NAT, in this case the port forwarding will not work.

Do you have a second router in your network? If so, you should create port forwarding rules on the first router to the second router.

If you do not have the second router and this one is directly connected to your ISP, then you have a few options:

Call to your ISP and ask for public IP, it could be dynamic, but must be a public (the WAN IP will match the IP on yougetsignal); you can say that you need an access to your security cam anywhere to do not explain Storj to ISP’s staff;
Switch to ISP who offer a public IP;
Use VPN services with port forwarding feature such as portmap.io, ngrok, PIA, PureVPN, AirVPN, etc.

can you try sudo ufw status in linux commnd to make sure firewall not working
