Hi i have been away for some time my node has been offline almost a year and i pretty sure is a no go…
I want to re enter the space but this time i want to have 3 drive on one machine
Can someone help me and advise how to completly get rid of all old files
Give more details about your setup… OS, storage paths, docker or service install…
Your old node will definitely have been disqualified forever. So you can start fresh. new identities and everything.
If you want to use 3 different disks for storj, we generally recommend setting up a one separate node for each disk.
multinode is a dashboard.
All you need to do is setup one node. record steps. Then use the same steps (including getting token, generating, and signing identity) to setup subsequent nodes except:
- storage on a different disk
- access on a different port.
That’s it.
I agree, I have not used multinode dashboard even though I have 8 nodes, because I couldn’t figure it out.
But I have one big docker-compose.yaml with 8 instances of storj listed. They have difference container names, external ports mapped, identity directories, and storage directories mounted. But are otherwise identical.
