I you run NFS instead of CIFS it runs like a charm

Hello @Firmw4re,
Welcome to the forum!
Please, don’t use either NFS: https://forum.storj.io/tag/nfs or CIFS: https://forum.storj.io/tag/smb
They are neither supported nor recommended. The only compatible network protocol is iSCSI. However, any network attached drive will have a higher latency than any local connected, so, it’s better to use a local connected drives instead.

Thanks for the info  currently moving all my data to a iSCSI target

Hopefully I get not a penalty for the downtime :stuck_out_tongue:

You could use rsync multiple times while the node is running to avoid downtime.
And then, when the diff is minimal, stop the node and run a final and quick rsync before actually migrating the node for good.

(that’s a cool work setup you have here )

Thanks problem is I have 1 NAS and when i create a LUN it uses al free space as an iSCSI drive. So I needed to get the data of the NAS create the LUN and then move it back to the NAS.

But after 1 hour I was done, so not really big of a deal
