Running the node on a VPS server?

Can I run a node on a vps or a dedi server given that it fulfills all the requirements?

sure.
Just be aware that you can’t limit the bandwidth, you have to have unlimited BW on your VPS and you need to calculate that.

It’s hard to tell if it’s gonna be profitable right now though. It’s gonna take months to fill up and become well utilized I reckon, and after that we’ll be interested to know how it performs ^^

I would like to recommend to study their terms of use, especially marked by asterisk and printed with fine font.
If you have unlimited bandwidth, you likely have limited storage or/and CPU and RAM.
