When you send Storj to your account, it essentials burns the token and leaves in your account the Dollar value of whatever Storj was when it hit your account, correct?
No, STORJ tokens do not get burned, they get added to the Storj Labs STORJ reserves for future use by the company. However, it is correct that the amount of STORJ you deposit to your account gets converted to USD according to the current STORJ/USD exchange rate at time of deposit and added to your account balance, to be used to pay for usage billed on future invoices.
Please note that you will also get an extra 10% bonus credited to your account balance if you pay with STORJ token.
