Hey could you provide log file at least the last 20 or so lines.

It could be the privilege’s if you didn’t start is an Admin but can be a different underlying cause.

Thanks

since its a new installation i dont have a trust-cache.json. did a bit of research

also start services.msc with admin rights same issue…

No i meant the storj log file

It should be where the storj service is installed

Thankyou

Hi @CHILENITO,
Your contact.external-address: is incorrect. It should be in the format “domainname:port” or “IP:port” related to your internet connection/router and the port forwarding rule.

i have a static public ipv4

Yes you might have it configured it in the device it self. But your config.yml file is incorrectly configured.
You are missing node operator email. And it seems you wrote an email instead of the IP.

You just have to write your public IPv4:Port

This should fix the issue

na the file seems to have correct settings…

The log file disagrees:

Please check both entries in the config.yaml, try to start the node and then show the latest log entries.

Just read the logs and you can tell. Timestamp looks like that is your node.

OH im an idiot!!! thank everyone…

ipv4 8.8.8.8:port number i was missing the port number… all working fine thanks for your support guys much appreciated… (ill delete me post)
