Storagenode on my Rpi4 is 'OFFLINE' after about 4 hours of working

Hi all,

I’m new user and I followed the tutorial to use my external HDD to my Rpi4.

All gone fine but this morning I was ‘Offline’. I checked all the part (port fowarding, ufw, noip) and everything was OK. So I stopped the docker storagenode, I removed it and I installed it again without any difficulty.

Few minutes ago (after about 4 hours of well working), it stopped again.
I just done the same steps but I’m still ‘Offline’.

Do you have any idea what’s going on ?

Many thanks!

Hello @aurelb87 and welcome to the forum

Is there anything of interest in the logs?

Also, maybe some useful guidances there:

Hello Pac,

Thanks for your answer and also for your welcome!

Well, I have checked it (guidances) before to post my message but all was fine.
Few minutes after my post, I did ‘stop’, ‘rm’ and run again the storagenode docker and finally I succeeded to be ‘Online’.

Regarding the logs file, I have checked it but I don’t remember all the fine…
I just remember that I had the message “Failed to sufficiently increase receive buffer size” so I fixed it with : sysctl -w net.core.rmem_max=2500000 (many thanks to the forum  ).

I keep in touch during the next hours in order to see if I have the same problem… (And save the logs file… )

Alright, cool ^^

If you haven’t done it already, you can redirect logs to a file so they don’t disappear each time you restart your node:

That’s a good practice
