The numbers in the rounded rectangles are the unique identifier of the usage calculation (so called paystubs) and payments in our system. These records are synchronized with the storagenode. Proper representation on the SN web UI will be improved with new releases.
The payment has been started yesterday, but for technical reason we need to do it in multiple weaves.
Progress can be followed by checking the wallet what we use:
My usage is always higher than my payout. I saw no delays in payouts. Is it because they are really just deductions from the total I pay to storj, and not actual payments?
Maybe I worded it incorrectly. By usage I intend usage as a customer of storj, as I am both customer and SNO. Every month I always pay much more than what I get from running my node. So it’s a discount, not an actual payment: I just get a credit note, no actual funds. My credit notes did not change noticeably in those months.
Exactly how is the difference in the token price handled? For the upcoming payments, now that the token has increased by double digits, how will that price difference be managed?
Currently we use the default 4x threshold_divisor, which means payout should be ≥ 4 × estimated fee. It’s dynamic, and depends on the current ETH and gas prices, but with current prices I would expect it to be less than 0.1 USD.
