STORJ can now be used for fee payment on zkSync Era!

As far as I understand paymasters integrate with dapps and not wallets. I asked the folks on the SyncSwap discord about third party paymasters and they said no, use their own paymaster.

Also sidenote I recently discovered that zkSync devs have been subsidizing gas fees for withdrawals on L1, if the withdrawal amount is 0.01 ETH or greater. Must be ETH and not any other ERC20 token.

Thank you! And I assume while SyncSwap claims they have a paymaster service, they probably do not offer it for Storj tokens, otherwise I guess someone would post about it on the forum.

Bootstrapping a new network is clearly a difficult task.

Hi!

Very interesting thread! It’s good news we can use STORJ to pay gas fees for transfers and withdrawals.

But is there a way to pay fees in STORJ to make a swap?
I would like exchange my STORJ for ETH.

Storj isn’t a large enough company to be able to afford global fiat payments. But if you use someplace like CDC you can be spending your payouts 15min after receiving them.

Converting storj to usd or whatever you need takes two clicks and costs less than 1%.

Storj token is there to stay. If you need to know why — read old posts. It’s been discussed to death.

Normally you look first how you get paid and how you can get it into Fiat, bevor doing such a project. To minimize risk of getting scammed, etc.

Storj node operators are paid in Storj tokens

This will not change.
It is clearly laid out in the Terms and Conditions all node operators agree to when you begin to participate.
