It does not really matter IMO. Storj is trying to attract large companies that store a lot of data, not regular people who store less than 1TB. Storj is actually trying to get rid of those small customers by imposing a minimum monthly fee, because they are a net loss.
Maybe some day Storj will be larger and more efficient and will be able to make profit from customers who store 100GB, but it is not today.
In part he is right. A great visibility will make easyer for big clients to promote their services further down the line to small clients and investors. “Hey, we offer cloud storage solutions based on Storj Global Network”. “Ou wawww! Great move!”. This is what should be after.
Everybody knows Coca Cola, and yet they still pour millions of dollars in publicity. The advertisement is everything and it must be done permanently not just once. And with so many free ways these days, it’s very cheap or free to do it.
