Hi, yesterday my main node audit score dropped from 100% to 99.91%. Today it stands at 99.92%.
The strangeness is that this node is running on TrueNAS Scale, 2 vdev - raidz1. ZFS does not detect any data corruption.
I think it depends on the garbage collector.
Note: the trash folder is working properly, no write cache. Server under UPS and ECC ram.
I have no log, as I use the TNS app.
Since it looks like your Online score took a hit too: could it have been a simple connectivity issue? Like whatever hiccup caused the online test to fail also made an audit connection fail (so it didn’t get ‘bad data’ it got ‘no data’?)
Worth watching… but probably nothing.
Online score drop is due to an elettric outage last month.
But it was a safe shutdown triggered by the UPS.
I have other 3 nodes connected via USB. They are fine.

If you do not have a data loss and errors related to GET_AUDIT and GET_REPAIR, then your node should recover the audit score.
The online score will be recovered after 30 days online. Each downtime requires additional 30 days to recover.
