Is there a way to directly stream data (audio/video) from frontend to the storj node. At present, as per my understanding, the flow is like this Frontend → Backend → Storj. I have to first stream data from frontend to backend and using the libuplink library, then store it on storj.

Storj DCS is not really for streaming live content. If it is a live event then https://videocoin.network/ might be more suitable.
