Suggestions for the web video player. I don’t know if these are technically possibly but some improvements would be neat:

  1. Add support for companion srt files. Srt files are the files containing captions for a video. It would be nice if there is a bucket holding a video file and a srt file with the same name, that the web player would automatically offer to display those captions. Maybe it would be even possible to to that in a localized manner so that the user can choose captions in his own language when available.

  2. Thumbnails on the seek bar (similar to Youtube).

  3. Creation of links with timestamp, so that links can get shared that lauch the clip at a specific position.
