I don’t remember if there was a vote for zksync, also didn’t find any. If there was a vote would be interesting to know how many voted and how many enabled zksync.

We have not had a voting for zkSync, but we have had several suggestions to use it. Then we studied their solution for a while and decided to work with them.

Send payments using a layer 2 scaling solution

If you sent payments using zkSync or something like it then it would be cheaper for us and there would be less stuff on the chain. I’ve looked at zkSync. I got them to add the storj token to their website. Vitalik mentioned them. I think it would be great if payments were sent to Storage Node Operators using zkSync or at least it would be great if we were allowed to opt-in to it.
