Now that the forum is up and running and starting to get traffic, it seems that the https://ideas.storj.io site should be shutdown in favor of this forum.
Tracking conversations/ideas/whatnot across multiple platforms seems silly if the bulk of the storj eyeballs are gonna be here. I almost forgot it was there until it was mentioned in the old rocket chat which got me thinking why it still existed…
Thoughts?
Where would you suggest this be done in the forums? How will you track upvoting of idea’s etc in the forums???
You can post the idea here, in the https://forum.storj.io/c/parent-cat for example.
The voting would be with tap/click the “Like” button (it’s looks like a heart here).
However, I want to hear @brandon’s opinion on this topic 
The Forum is an awesome new addition for the community to have conversations but I dont think it can replace ideas.storj.io at the moment. Part of the reason we use the ideas portal is because its a part of Aha which is the product management software we use. If you submit an idea I am able to convert it into a feature and get it slated into our roadmap and then you can track it! We can integrate the ideas portal into the forum to make it easier for you all to submit your awesome ideas!
