Token price swing after payout

It must be draining faster than ever with the price going down… Today it is at $0.087 on Coinmarketcap. Trend: :down_right_arrow:

Buy the dip, Lambo is comming.:money_mouth_face:

I don’t think the trend will fundamentally change:

At the end that would be gambling. Why not do Polymarket instead?

It’s incredible. If someone doesn’t sell within 5 minutes of the tokens arriving in their wallet, they lose over 20% of their work. All it takes is a moment’s distraction. It’s not good at all. It’s truly frustrating. I’ve been with Storj for 6 years and I’d really hate to leave after accumulating over 120 TB of data. Let’s hope it recovers so I can sell and at least get the money I earned this month. Of course, I don’t want to speculate, but I just want what I worked for.

You could be sleeping.

I ended up automating the sell via the Coinbase API and a quick and dirty PHP app.

This will catch the monthly payout within 15 minutes and concert it to a stable coin. I’m aware that depositing to a custodial wallet is poor practice and it’s a heavy stack for what it does, but it was quick and dirty.

This tools connects to Coinbase and checks if your account has any STORJ every 30 minutes or so. If it finds any, it sells them to USDC in an order and sends a notification.

Polling, let alone at this huge 30 min interval is a no-go. We need to sell the same millisecond tokens arrive. Coinbase removed support for web hooks for retail accounts. So the solution is to move away from coinbase. AFAIK Kraken supports notifications.

Aren’t there any tools that work with DEXes?
Since you should not use a CEX as payment wallet, a non-custodial wallet integrated with a DEX is the next best thing.

Eh? You absolutely should use the wallet someone else manages to transact in. Exchanges do all the work for you, prepare tax forms, and care about all other minutiae. Nobody shall be DYIing it with custodial wallets passphrase and all that other circus.

They cannot, they are from EU, remember?

The US is not the only country in the world

All your offers to pay in US dollars are dashed against the titanium wall of local laws in other countries.
