Too many nodes at one IP address?

I used to fill up an 8TB node every 4-6 mo. However, about a year ago I brought 2x nodes online at the same time and they’re both only at 25% capacity. Is there some kind of geographic filtering being done by IP or something that would limit my nodes from receiving new shards?

There are probably many more nodes on the network since then. Also all nodes on the same /24 subnet are treated as 1 node.
