Unable to get satellite system time

No,ping isn’t working either from the pi

the strange thing is that seems like DNS is working, becuase us2.storj.io does resolve to an IP,but the ping just doesn’t reach.

Yes, i think DNS is fine. It’s other traffic being blocked in some way.

edit - try this? Ubuntu Manpage: network-test - check the network and test if everything is fine

I’ve tried with traceroute and seems like the trafic is going outside my network and seems to be doing it fine

tried,everything seems OK

Ok I tring I finnaly identified the problem (even I don’t know how to solve it)

seems like my packages to us2.storj.io are running into an internet loop at some point of the connection

I tried to do traceroute with 2 different rasbpi in 2 different locations and networks BUT both in the same ISP network.

from that result seems that they are taking the same route till then end in 172.253.76.37 (that seems a google adress in USA,so they’re leaving europe)

and from that part they use different paths, till I have a bunch of IP with * * * and that until the 255 (wich is the limit for traceroute)

¿so,anyone knows why this could be happening? I’m just freaking out to the dimmension of this thing going to a google trafic node in USA

P.D:seems to be looping between 172.253.0.0 subnetwork and 142.250.0.0 subnetwork

Ok,Triying things I reseted my router to see if it will change the route is using to reach the sattelites and seems that have worked, the loop is now gone and the node is succesfully conected to the network.

left this here if someone reachs out the same problem

P.D:the only problem now is that the node has been out of the network for almost 4 days,so I really don’t know if I’m gonna be disqualified or what xdddd

P.D2:checked the dashboard and has been of by 11 days…

Your downtime is within the limits allowed, as long as you can keep the node online for the next 28 days.
